Teletherapy

Expert therapy from the comfort of home.

Life is busy, and commuting to appointments isn't always realistic. With BSPS teletherapy, you get the same expert care we provide in our clinics — through secure video sessions, from therapists licensed in both Missouri and Kansas.

For: Children and adults — you must be located in MO or KS during sessions

Teletherapy at Billings Speech Pathology Services

Telepractice is an established service delivery model for speech-language pathology and can be a strong fit for many clients. Fit matters: we consider attention, age, technology access, caregiver support, goals, safety, and whether hands-on assessment is needed.

Sessions are the same length as in-person visits (typically 30–60 minutes), with interactive activities, screen sharing, virtual games, and digital home program materials. All you need is a device with a camera, reliable internet, and a quiet space.

Speech therapy, language intervention, myofunctional therapy, reading intervention, voice, and fluency services may be available online when clinically appropriate. Feeding therapy often works best as a hybrid, with some in-person sessions. Not sure what's right for you? We'll help you decide during the evaluation.

Teletherapy is a great fit if…

  • Your schedule makes clinic visits difficult
  • You live far from our Lee's Summit or Overland Park offices
  • Your child is comfortable on video calls
  • You want to be more involved in sessions
  • You prefer private sessions from home
  • Transportation or mobility is a challenge

In-person may be better when hands-on oral motor work is needed or for very young children. We'll guide you to the right fit.
